2022 Convention Results

There were 167 attendees in Albuquerque. Our district’s “what’s your 80?” was 80 convention voters. Bylaws were approved and a mission goal of $123,000 (which includes mission grants, scholarships, and mites to national). Monies were collected for mites ($2782.64 offering + $157 moving for mites), the Lighthouse Mission ($1470.50), and Tender Loving Care Community ($1367.57), as of 6/5/22.

Ingathering Counts

Ingathering items were going to God Cares About You, Hartley House, and Ysleta Lutheran Mission Human Care. Blankets were being tied throughout the convention—one way to stay warm in a well conditioned room.

God Cares About You: 632 children’s Bible story books, 893 hygiene kits, and 2 boxes feminine hygiene products

Hartley House: 488 new underwear, 273 boxes feminine hygiene products, as well as 26 socks and 31 bras

Ysleta Lutheran Mission Human Care: 133 blankets, 83 fleece blankets, 601 toys, and school supplies
