This grant supports Ysleta Lutheran Mission Human Care and its partnership with Lutheran congregations in Mexico serving communities affected by poverty, displacement, and limited resources. These ministries provide both physical care and spiritual nourishment through worship, feeding programs, and discipleship.
In communities where many struggle to meet basic needs, these congregations serve as centers of hope. Children receive meals, families receive support, and individuals of all ages hear the Gospel in their own language. The ministry also encourages and equips future church workers within these communities.
Funding will provide food resources and Spanish-language Lutheran materials, enabling continued and expanded outreach. Through this work, both immediate needs and eternal hope are addressed, strengthening the Church in Mexico.

In addition, recipients receive monthly Cards of Hope for a full year, reminding them they are not alone and pointing them to the love of Christ. These consistent touches provide encouragement during one of life’s most difficult journeys.
As cancer diagnoses continue to rise, the demand for these services has increased significantly. This grant will help expand outreach efforts, ensuring more individuals receive comfort, encouragement, and the life-giving message of the Gospel.

Lutherans For Life equips individuals and congregations to be Gospel-motivated voices for life, addressing critical life issues through the truth and compassion found in Jesus Christ. Through Life Ministry Groups in churches, campuses, and communities, this organization provides education, encouragement, and resources that support pastors and laypeople in sharing the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death.
This grant will support the development of new training programs designed to reach multiple generations using modern communication tools. Through video-based and interactive online platforms, Lutherans For Life will expand its ability to equip volunteers more efficiently, allowing them to confidently engage others in conversations about life issues and the hope found in Christ.
As Life Groups grow and expand their outreach, they create opportunities to connect with those both inside and outside the Church. This initiative will strengthen Gospel proclamation, equipping believers to respond to today’s cultural challenges with clarity, compassion, and the life-giving message of Jesus.
